Keith Kibirango

Keith Kibirango is an executive leader, international speaker, and philanthropy strategist with over 20 years of experience driving social impact and cross-sector partnerships across Africa, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Driven by his early childhood experiences navigating regional conflict and relying on charitable assistance in Uganda, his career deeply champions localization. He actively advocates for international development structures to shift power, resources, and long-term financial sustainability directly into the hands of African-led local partners.Currently, he serves as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of New Global Markets (NGM) Consulting, an agency focused on expanding financial sustainability for nonprofits and facilitating market entry into Africa. Through this firm, he established the South Leadership Fundraising Institute to build institutional capacity within Global South organizations. Alongside this role, Kibirango contributes his expertise globally as an appointed Board Member for Financial Sector Deepening (FSD) Uganda, an Independent Member of the Finance and Fundraising Committee for Comic Relief in London, and a Special Advisor to the Cuppy Foundation.Before launching his consulting firm, Kibirango served as the Chief Executive Officer of Crown Agents International Development (CAID) from 2021 to 2024, where he successfully built the charity's governance structure and scaled its regional revenue. He also made a significant impact at Save the Children UK as the Head of African Philanthropy, pioneering the African Philanthropy Programme and securing a historic £10 million single donation from an African philanthropist. He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and initially built his career foundation in Uganda as the Director of the Uganda Law Society and Chair of the Uganda Peace Network.
