Evelyne Opondo is a prominent Kenyan human rights lawyer and globally recognized advocate for reproductive justice, women's rights, and gender equality. With over two decades of transformative leadership in international development, she serves as the Executive Director for Africa at the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW). In her current role based in Nairobi, she spearheads regional strategies, fosters community partnerships, and addresses complex issues like reproductive health, gender social norms, and the care economy.
