Lead coordinating body for Rwanda's National AI Policy. Operates the Responsible AI Office — Africa's first dedicated government AI ethics office. Rwanda was the first African country to establish a dedicated Responsible AI Office in government. National AI Policy (2023) is one of Africa's most operationally mature frameworks. Rwanda ranked 3rd in Africa on the 2023 Government AI Readiness Index.
