Hope Haven Christian Secondary School emerged as the overall winner in the FLL Championship at Rwanda's 4th National Robotics Competition on February 21, 2026. Their winning project, DeepTrace, combines a drone and a robotic probe to scan for potential artefacts underground and retrieve them carefully to prevent damage. The innovation addresses archaeological exploration and heritage preservation, demonstrating how young Rwandan innovators are applying robotics to real-world challenges.
