Defence Forces Technical College (DEFTEC)

DEFTEC, in partnership with the Open University of Kenya and facilitated by Huawei Technologies, is building the capacity of its students and staff in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity through Huawei Certification courses. This collaboration, established in October 2025, enables participants to progress to Master of Science programmes in AI and Cybersecurity starting in January 2026, aligning Kenya's military expertise with emerging global technologies.
