COMSTECH-Libya AI Research and Development Centre

Libya and the OIC's Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation agreed in December 2025 to launch the COMSTECH-Libya Programme, which includes establishing an Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Centre at the University of Tripoli focusing on AI applications in health, environmental sustainability, and agriculture.
