Cassation AI is an AI-powered legal research tool developed by G Tech Ethiopia. It addresses the challenge that Ethiopian legal professionals face when trying to locate and analyse binding interpretations issued by the Federal Supreme Court of Ethiopia through its Cassation (final appeal) decisions, which are scattered across numerous volumes. The platform provides a searchable, AI-assisted database covering Volumes 1 to 28 of Cassation decisions, as well as various laws, regulations, and decisions from the House of Federation. It is offered on a subscription basis, enabling lawyers, judges, and legal scholars to conduct faster, more accurate research and significantly reducing the time spent manually sifting through thousands of pages.
